VEHICLE TESTING STATION
Establishment At Sockburn
The vehicle testing station to be established by the Waimairi and Paparua County Councils and the Riccarton Borough Council, will be built on part of the Paparua County Council's yard at Sockburn. It will have frontages on the Main South road and Blenheim road. The site was agreed on at a meeting of representatives of the three councils. Preliminary plans will be drawn by the Waimairi County Council, and estimates of costs of alternative types of construction prepared.
