Mining Returns
(From Out Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH. April 17. The dredge Kaniere, operated by Gold Mines of New Zealand. Ltd., in the Taramakau valley in the halt' month ended ' April 13. returned 161 ounces of bullion'from 133 000 yards of material excavated in 233 hours. McLeod Bros.— lnterim dividend is 81 a £1 share. Last year's interim of 8d was folI lowed by a final payment of ils 4d. plus a bonus dividend of 9d paid out of capital profits. The dividend is payable on May 11, ex May I.—(P.A.) Perpetual Trustees.— Directors recommend a dividend of Is a share for the six months to March 31. plus a bonus of 6d a share. This follows an interim 9d; making 2s 3d for the year.—(P.A.)
