Company News NEW WORKS PLANNED
K.P.-Farm Fert. Venture Kempthorne Prosser and Company's New Zealand Drug Company. Ltd., had been negotiating with the Wellington Harbour Board with a view to acquiring a suitable site near the waterfront for a fertiliser works in Wellington. K.P.'s chairman (Mr W.
L. Cunningham) said at the annual meeting in Dunedin. This would be undertaken in association wrtn the New Zealand Farmers' Fertiliser Company, Ltd., when the demand for fertiliser warranted the additional productive capacity. Mr Cunningha’.i said that further negotiations had begun with other authorities regarding the industrial zoning of the area i.i order to carry out the manufacture of fertiliser.
