“EYE-APPEAL FOOD”
Talk To Lincoln Women
"Eye-appeal food” was the subject of a talk given at a recent meeting of the Lincoln College Women’s Group by iMr W. G. Munro, refectory manager of the College. Decorated tables featuring dishes for a children’s party, cold meats and salads for a smorgasbord, and attractive left-overs illustrated his talk. A cooked, smoked chicken, wich had first been pickled in brine to give the meat an attractive trace of mild ham flavour, attracted particular interest. This dish, popular overseas, has not yet become well known in New Zealand.
