BURGLARIES IN N.Z.
Australians Suspected (NX. Press Association) NAPIER, April 16. The suspicion that Australian criminals have been involved in burglaries in New Zealand during the last few months was expressed by Mr E F Rothwell. SM., in the Magistrate’s Court at Napier today. The Magistrate was sentencing two men on a joint burglary charge Both received long gaol terms The Magistrate said their crime carried all the hallmarks of similar crimes prevalent in New Zealand and thought to be the work of Australians.
