RUSSIA AND CHINA
Closer Ties Reported (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON. April 16. Russia and China were “definitely friends again." the “Daily Mail” claimed today. To many pointers already reported, two more were added yesterday—the May Day slogan on "Inviolable Friendship” for China and Albania published in Moscow and the "Unity with the Soviet Union” statement made by the Chinese Foreign Trade Minister in Peking. The end of the quarrel must be accounted a victory for the Soviet Prime Minister (Mr Khrushchev), the report said.
