Pointers For President
(N.Z.P.A .-Reuter— Copyright) RALEIGH (North Carolina). April 15. A student at North Carolina State College plans to call on President Kennedy next month to give him a few hints on how to give his public speaking additional impact. Edward Cain, of Philadelphia. will give the President a hand with demonstrations of several new arm and hand gestures calculated to give more emphasis to his words. In speech class discussions it was decided Mr Kennedy had only two speech-stress gestures: finger-jabbing. like spearing a fish, and handchopping. like cutting the fish’s head off.
