Inquiry At Addington
An inquiry was held after the Papanui Handicap at Addington on Saturday into an accident at the straight entrance involving Worthy Diemau, Latest and Loyal Brigade. It was found that Safe Return moved out and locked wheels with Worthy Dieman, causing P. C. Gallagher to be tipped from the latter's sulky. It was also found that when ' oyal Brigade eased back from a tiring horse. Latest put his foot through Loyal Brigade’s sulky. The drivers concerned were reprimanded.
