Reply To Minister Of Finance (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 15. The former Minister of Finance. Mr A H. Nordmeyer, today replied So comments by the Minister of Finance, Mr Lake, on New Zealand's overseas securities. “Mr Lake claims that the figure which I used in my Christchurch meeting on Wednesday night when I referred to the sale of overseas investments was incorrect,” Mr Nordmeyer said. "If he turns to the centre of the January Reserve Bank Bulletin, he will find that tor the calendar year 1961, the figure given is precisely that which I used—official investments realised £24.8 million. “Either the Reserve Bank or the Minister is wrong,” Mi- Nordmeyer said. “I have always found the Reserve Bank statistics meat reliable."
