£112,000 Pledged
Members of St. Mary's Roman Catholic parish in Wanganui have pledged £112.000 for the next three years It is believed to be the largest sum ever pledged by a church parish in New Zealand, according to a statement from a fund-raisine consultant firm which assisted in the campaign. The funds raised will be saint on building Catholic schools.
