THEFT OF MILK MONEY
Use Of Tokens Advocated The real answer to the theft of milk money was the use of tokens, said the president of the Canterbury Milk Vendors’ Association (Mr P A. Caithness) last evening. He was commenting on the report of milk money being taken in the St. Martins area. Vendors who used tokens had little trouble. It was cash the thieves were after. Mr Caithness said. From 110 to 115 vendors in the association’s district were using tokens. The tokens were numbered and each vendor had his own colour.
