TOWNSWOMEN'S DONATIONS
Christchurch Guild Activities
Donations had been made by t>he Christchurch Central Townswomen's Guild to the Canterbury branch of the British Empire Cancer Campaign Society, the Christchurch branch of the Adult Ce.rebral Palsv Association, the Christchurch Aged People’s Welfare Council, and the Nurse Maude Association, the guild’s annual meeting was told. Three parcels had been sent to a sponsored child in Liverpool. Mrs C G. Crawford presided. Cups were presented to Mrs M. Murrell (for most points at a fair) and to Mrs C Osborne (for most points in the monthly floral competitions)
Officers elected were:— President. Mrs C G Crawford: secretary, Mrs H. J. Blick. treasurer. Mrs E Leslie: committee. Mesdames E Allen, N Glen. W Hobbs. M Murrell. E MacLauch’an. M McGeorge. E J Rovfee. M Radford. P Stead. R Soper R Sutherland. E Watson: circle leaders. Mesdames M McGeorge farts and crafts’ M. Murrell (bridge). E. J Royfee (civic’. J Fulton (drama). A Blunt (gardening). W. Hobbs (music circle leader-secretary)
