Gallery For N.Z. Artists Only
(N.z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 13. The Waihi Museum and Arts Centre Association approved in a statement today that it is to establish in Waihi a country gallery to be devoted exclusively to the work of Dominion artists.
The gallery, which will be organised as a distribution centre for New Zealand art and design, will, in its first year, be under the direction of the New Zealand painter, Eric Lee-Johnson.
