HANDLING IN BULK
Extension Of Storage
Two important changes will affect the New Zealand flourmilling industry, according to the Wheat Committee's submissions laid before the committee of inquiry into the wheat, flour and bread industries in Christchurch yesterday These are the bulk handling of wheat and flour
The Wheat Committee said in its statement that the bulk handling of wheat required the extension of existing storage, while the bulk handling of flour involved special equipment in the mill and in delivery to bulk users.
“These two developments and the means of meeting the trade arising from the population growth must be provided for by the flourm-iUing industry,” said the committee.
