UNIVERSITY VACANCIES THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW SOUTH WALES Applications are invited for appointment to the position of SENIOR LECTURER OR LECTURER SCHOOL OF PHYSIOLOGY Salary: Senior Lecturer, £A2594 range £A3044 per annum, Lecturer. £A1774 range £A2479 per annum. Commencing salary according to qualifications and experience. Applicants should have appropriate teaching and research experience in psysiology, and should be graduates in medicine, science or veterinary science. The successful applicant should be prepared to take up his duties as soon as passible, preferably not later than September 1962. The Faculty of Medicine was established in the University in 1960. and the teaching of physiology to medical students will commence in the second half of 1962 and to science students at the beginning of 1963. A new medical sciences building is being constructed and will be ready for occupation at the end of 1962. There will be excellent facilities for teaching and research In the School of Physiology. Research facilities have been established in the fields of cardiovascular physiology, respiratory physiology and neurophysiology, and medical electronics. and there are good workshop facilities.
