Griffin’s Shares In Strong Demand
Griffin’s shares rose strongly in Wellington business yesterday. The old shares rose Is 3d since last Friday. The B shares and C shares rose Is 3d and 2s 3d respectively.
Hallenstein Bros., in first business since March 23. rose Is 3d to 35s 6d. New Zealand Industrial Gases, last traded on December 19, fell 9s to 555. Myers recovered Is of the Is 6d loss on Tuesday. Rises and falls were again evenly divided. There were 12 New Zealand rises to 11 falls and three overseas rises to three falls.
