APPRENTICESHIP APPEAL
Company’s Claim Upheld
An appeal by S F. Clark, Ltd., a Christchurch building firm, against the decision of the North Canterbury Carpentry and Joinery Industry Apprenticeship Committee tn at the firm is not a suitable employer of apprentices has been upheld by tlie Arbitration Court. Delivering a reserved decision on behalf of the Court, Mr Justice Tyndall said the Court had taken into consideration tfie previous good record of the company in training apprentices.
