Equipment At Blenheim (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. April 12. Equipment for the United States Air Force's "Project Longbank” arrived by Globemaster at Woodbourne R N Z.A.F. station at midday today direct from the United States It will be used in the study of aero-space disturbances and their effect upon radio communications

The U.S A.F. and the R.N ZA F are co-operating on the project. The equioment was shipped from the University of Denver in a 36ft long windowless aluminium trailer

More equipment would arrive at a later date, the United States Military Attache (Colonel M G Miller) said tonight. It would probably be set up in the Marl-borough-Nelson area, but a site had not yet been chosen.
