Club was opened in Auck- ! land recently seven pastk presidents of the club k attended the opening k function. They were B Messrs I. R. Chalmers, L. J F. McLaren, I. A. Parton,
I. S. Cranch, G. W. Whi:e, J W R. Beasley, and R. M. J Grierson. The new head- Jg quarters is the club’s first k permanent home since its k inception in 1932. The club k now has more than 530 4 members, many of whom J did voluntary work on the 5 headquarters, which was ! built entirely with volun- k tary labour. k ¥ ¥ ¥ k An afternoon trial held J by the Canterbury Car J Club on Sunday was won J by J.
