Modern Camping
Hiking to the accompaniment of music from transistor radios, Auckland senior scouts brought camping up to date during their annual competitions held recently at Eagan Park, Henderson. The scouts ate chicken dinners, had mushrooms for breakfast, and cooked on pressure stovvG. Many of them had copies of the paper brought in from the city, and stretchers and air-beds were in evidence.
