Last Voyage
( N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. March 15.
A large crowd paid its last respects to the Dominion Monarch when she sailed from Wellington at noon today on her last homeward voyage. Thousands lined the wharves and made use of every available roof-top nearby. As the last forward line was slipped and the Dominion Monarch moved astern into the harbour, her parting whistle was answered by nearly every ship in port. From her forward mast flew a 162 ft 6in long paying-off pennant—2Jft for each voyage.
