Polo SAVILE CUP MATCHES
Auckland May Stage Final ( N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 8. Auckland may stage for the first time since 1903 the final match in the national polo championship for the Savile Cup. The management committee of the New Zealand Polo Association decided today to abandon the subsidiary events of the present tournament at Morrinsville due to continuing bad weather, but to carry on at Taupiri with the semi-finals of the Saville and Junior Cups. Mr A. R. Douglas suggested that an approach should be made to the Auckland dub to stage the finals at Clevedon on March 17 and 18.
