Flaxman May Do Best At Wingatui

DUNEDIN, March 8. Flaxman, an impressive winner under high-weight condit:ons at the Dunedin Christinas meeting, may make the grade in open ciass in the Tally-Ho Handicap, the feature Bat race and the first leg of the Otago Hunt Club’s double at Wingatui on Saturday. The Era is a doubtful starter, and Tarlon is likely to start in the Wingatui Handicap. Pane! is to make a fresh start, and aa she races well fresh she may be preferred to Persuasive, which has been disappointing in her recent races, rlaxman. Solus and Minglow make most appeal. Tampa.
