Thirty-one people died —including 16 children—and 28 were injured after a passenger bus was in collision with a station waggon and rammed a wall yesterday. Rescue crews extracted the bodies of the victims from the twisted remains of the bus, which was reported to have been travelling at more than 50 miles an hour, the Associated Press reported After colliding with the station waggon, whose occupants were reported to have died Instantly, the bus swayed from one side of the avenue to the other, sweeping away a still undetermined number of pedestrians. It ended up against the wall of a car-repair .shop. The 16 children reported among the victims were bound for school in Cuernavaca from the surrounding villages. World Steel Output (N .Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) WASHINGTON, March 8 The world steel output in 1961 set a record of 375 million net tons, 15 million, or 4 per cent, higher than output in 1960. the United States Commerce Department reported yesterday. It said the estimate did not include production by Ciaina. which in the last two years was about 20 million tons each year.
