Fijian Stowaways For Deportation

( N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Mar. 7. ' Three Fijians who stowed away in ships to New Zealand were gaoled for seven days pending deportation by Mr A. A Coates, S.M., at Auckland, today. All had pleaded guilty. Manese Lalagila, aged 21. a workman, said he stowed away on the Van Noort at Suva on February 25 to join the New Zealand Army. John Raffle, aged 18. and Jim Akuila Bole, 18, stowed away in the Tofua.
