FRENCH T.V. WANT SNELL
Photographs In Action (HZ. Prin Aasoctatton) AUCKAND, March 7. Five Frenchmen arrived in Auckland tonight after travel, ling half-way round the world to see P. O. Snell and hi* coach, Mr A. Lydiard. They are member* of a tele, vision unit from T.V. Sports Service of France, and want to photograph Snell in action. During their thrae-weeta* May they will also film several television stories in both islands for a new sport* magazine broadcast. This is being done in conjunction with a film company and the films will be sold to other countries, a* well a* being shown throughout France. The leader and producer is Mr H. Carrier, and he i* accompanied by Messrs T. Roland (reporter), B. Levay-r and H. Nivet (cameramen) and A. Jouin (sound technician). They are being assisted by the Government Tourist Department.
