BRANCH LINE CLOSURE
Public Meeting At Lincoln A public meeting would be held at Lincoln on March 11 to allow persons concerned about the Railways Department’s proposal to close the Souithbridge-Lititle RiverWhitecliffe branch railway line to give their views on the matter, the Minister of Railways (Mr McAlpine) told the Paparua County Council in a letter received last evening. The Minister said he had asked the Springs County Council to call the meeting. The Paparua council decided to send a representative.
