Rugby League G.B. DELAYS ARRIVAL
Nine-Match Itinerary (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. March 4. The Great Britain Rugby League team will now open its tour of New Zealand on July 25, one week later than originally scheduled, said Mr J. E. Knowling, secretary of the New Zealand Rugby League. The tourists will play two extra matches in Australia after the third test, and will open their New Zealand tour at Waikato. The nine-match itinerary includes two tests, both in Auckland, on July 28 and. August 11- Two matches will be played in Christchurch.
The itinerary is: July 25. at Waikato; 28, v. New Zealand (first test), Auckland: 31, at Wellington; August 2, at Christchurch; 4. at Christchurch: 8, at Rotorua; 11 v. New Zealand (Second test), Auckland; 13, v. Auckland, Auckland.
