Australia Has Trade Surplus
(N X -A.-Reuter— Copyright) CANBERRA, March 3. Australia had an overseas trading surplus of £l7 million in February according to official figures released yesterday. This brought the trading surplus for the first eight months of the current financial year to £147 million comoared with a deficit of €’R5 million a year ago. This result was brought about by an expansion of exports for eight months and a shrinkage of imports as a result of tighter credit policies.
