SOLICITOR ADMITTED
Miss Cecily Fleming
Miss Cecily Fleming was admitted as a solicitor of toe Supreme Court of New Zealand in Christchurch yesterday by Mr Justice Macarthur on toe motion of Mr K. A Gough. Miss Fleming, who is 21, qualified as a solicitor last
year. She requires two units to complete her LI B degree, which she hopes to take this year.
A farmer St Margaret’s College pupil. Miss Fleming has taken her degree as a part-time student After leaving school in 1957, she worked for two years as a clerk in toe main office of toe Magistrate’s Court before a year in the Supreme Court. She has worked as a clerk in the office of a barrister and solicitor for toe last year. Miss Fleming was chairman of the St Albans branch at toe Junior National Party test year and is this year seretary ot the intermediate branch. * Her spare-time hobbies inhale ski-ing and several summer sports. Future plans include short trips abroad if possible but she intends to live in Christchurch.
