Woman Fined For Fatal Negligence
( N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER. Feb. 27. Shirley Rose Blunsdon. aged 21. a telephone operator, of Taradale. was fined £3O and disqualified from driving for five years by Mr Justice Haslam in the Supreme Court at Napier today. She was appearing for sentence on a charge of negligent driving causing death. Earlier, she had pleaded guilty. The charge arose from an accident when a car driven by Blunsdon struck a cyclist who later died.
