Cardigan Bay. is at a record low quote at this stage of Inter-Dominion discussions for the 1952 series at Perth later this month. He is quoted a point less than eachway value. As much as 20/1 was bet about him early, when there was considerable doubt about his making the long trek to Perth. Captain Sandy (Perth, 1953) and Caduceus (Sydney, 1960) are the only two New Zealand horses which have won the championship in Australia in the last 10 years

MELBOURNE, Feb. 15. The New Zealand pacer Caduceus. rising 12, will race again in America this year, according to the Melbourne "Herald's” trotting writer. K. McClure.
