Chief Scout At Hamilton

More than 1000 cubs and scouts of the Hamilton scouting area welcomed the Commonwealth Chief Scout 'Sir Charles McLean) when he arrived in the city last evening.
After an impressive ceremony at the Hamilton Boys High School, Sir Charles McLean shook hands with every member of the movement, bringing the total for his tour, just completed, to a marathon 17,000 handshakes.
