Residents
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 14.
The Auckland Trotting Club is to be asked by the One Tree Hill Borough Council to tone down night trotting commentaries to reduce the noise nuisance to residents near the raceway This decision was reached at the council meeting last night after discussion on two letters of complaint and numerous letters in the newspapers.
The president of the club (Mr P. Bridgens) would not comment today until he had received the council’s letter.
T wo-Y ear-Old’s Feat

The two-year-old New Zealand-bred pacing colt. Amen Straight, performed the unusual feat of winning two races 130 miles apart in New South Wales last weekend.
During Saturday afternoon he won the Southern Districts Sapling Stakes at Goulburn and five hours later had the easiest of wins m the Adina Two-year-old Stakes at Young. Amen Straight, which is by the New Zealand sire Amen Ra, has now won three successive races.
