Some Crossbreds Dearer IN Z Press Assn.—Copyright/ MELBOURNE. Feb. 13 Fine and medium crossbreds tended slightly dearer under broadening demand at today’s Melbourne wool sales The only types which did not share in the advance were those of average style carrying medium to heavy burr fault. Japan again dominated the bidding covering a wide range both in quality and style with good support from the Continent and local mills Merinos ruled firm and the Melbourne Woolbrokers’ Association reported a 98 per cent, clearance of the 16,914 bales offered. Crossbred prices ineluded: good to super 56’s. 68d; good to super 50's. 65d.
