Athletes Again Delaved
(N Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 13. P. G. Snell and M. G Halberg, who were originally due back this afternoon from their weekend .races in Los Angeles, have been further delayed. The T.E.A.L Electra in which they are travelling was held up by a refuelling Ladder becoming involved with a propeller blade, entailing a new engine being flown from Sydney to Nandi. A mechanical defect at Tafuna has put the aircraft further behind schedule, and a relief aircraft has been sent to Tahiti. This is now due at 12.50 p.m. on Thursday.
