Charges Against Detective
( N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 12. The hearing of charges of assault, obstructing a traffic officer and exceeding the speed limit, preferred against Brian Michael Meates, a detective attached to the Wellington C. 1.8., were further adjourned until Friday by Mr J. F. Keene, S.M., in the Lower Hutt Magistrate’s Court today.
