FOUNDATION OF C.W.I.’S
Plans To Observe Anniversary Plans to observe the fortyfirst anniversary of the foundation of Country Women's Institutes in NewZealand were discussed by the executive of the Canterbury Federation of Country Women’s Institutes at the first meeting of the year. A member of the executive will attend all annual meetings of federated institutes It is hoped to form a hospitality committee with two sister federations, Canterbury East and North Canterbury. as well as to enter the Agricultural and Pastoral Centennial Show. The hostesses for the federation’s combined group picnic, to be held later this month, will be from the Cheviot group. The annual meeting of the federation will be held in April.
