Two Children Dead fN.Z.P.A. -Reuter—Copyright) LOS ANGELES, Feb. 12. Mudslides, loosened by a five-day rainstorm, plunged into two homes early today, killing a boy and a six-month-old infant. One home was badly crushed. The other was almost pushed into a canyon. Dennis Milne, aged 9, was killed when a wall of mud crashed into his Monterey Park home before dawn. A baby boy was killed when a mudslide swept down a steep slope in Beverly Glen Canyon and into a residence, nearly pushing the home from its foundations and into a canyon. The slides were among hundreds which struck Southern California during the night. Flood waters rose in many communities, and traffic accidents blamed on the storm claimed another life. Tne death toll since the storm struck last Wednesday now stands at 10.
