Ceylon Match Drawn
<N Z.P.A -Reuter—Copyright) COLOMBO, Feb 12 The M.CC. tourists found themselves hax'ing to fighl to save the game on the final day of their two-day match against the Ceylon Cricket Association yesterday—in spite of the fact that the match lasted only 10 hours. In the end. it was drawn.
After gaining a first innings lead of 22. M C C lost six second innings wickets for 69 before tea.
Even though MC.C. did not take the cricket too seriously, setting out to please the crowd from the start, the Ceylon p'.ayers deserve full credit for matching them in enterprise, and placing themi selves in a winning position.
