Rain Delays Play ( N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON. February 12 A heavy tall of rain between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m this afternoon caused the New Zealand women’s bowling championship pairs to be interrupted after one and in some caae* two games in the qualifying section had been played at Hamilton In some cases city green* were under water, and greens Just outside the city area received only a light shower and were little affected.
Tournament controller* decided that instead of three games of 21 ends tomorrow, four games will be played of shorter duration.
If any of the teams playing n the games today, which were washed out. had a chance of qualifying, then these particular games will be played on Wednesday morning with the poatsection play beginning that afternoon.
