Final Day At E. London (Special Crspdt. NZ.P:A.) EAST LONDON. Feb. 12. The sky was overcast and there was a threat of rain when P. Muzzell and O. Dawson resumed Border's second innings at 110 for four on the final day of the match against New Zealand here today. New Zealand gained a first innings lead of 139 when it made 343, replying to Border's 204. J. C. Alabaster opened the bowling to Muzzell while Camr-rn bowled at the other end. Fifty for the fifth wicket ’ was reached in 58 minutes. ! when the Border batsmen added seven to the total. Muzzell and Dawson kept , the score moving at a brisk I pace, adding 19 in 20 minutes, i Alabaster made the ball turn a little, but Muzzell, using his feet well, jumped out to drive the leg spinner to midoff for four. The first 30 minutes produced 35 runs. When Muzzell was on 95 and the total 145, he w’as trapped lbw by Cameron with a ball that appeared to mave back late.
