Meat For Pakistan
Pakistan, with its population of 94,000.000 people, all mutton eaters, offered an enormous potential market for New Zealand, said its High Commissioner, Mr K. M. Kaiser, in Wellington. The sheep would have to be killed with the ritual traditional among Mohammedans. He had been asked if it would be possible to obtain the services of a Moslem priest trained in that work. He would pass the request on to his Government —(P.A.)
