Settlement Act For Renewal

LONDON, Feb. 10.
The Commonwealth Relations Undersecretary, Mr Bernard Braine, tx>ld Parliament that the Government planned to renew the Commonwealth Settlement Act for a further five years when it expired at the end of the year. He was replying to a question in the House of Commons. Under the Act, the British Government gives financial help to emigrants from Britain for settling in the Commonwealth, mainly Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
