GUATEMALA PROTESTS
Cuba Blamed For Attack (N Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) WASHINGTON, Feb. 9. Guatemala protested to the Organisation of American States yesterday against what it ealled a Cuban-inspired armed attack against Army forces in north-eastern Guatemala on Monday. A Guatemalan Note said regular Army troops were now in control and had captured trucks, jeeps, rifles and guns from ‘‘a small group of seditious forces.” The Note said: “These events constitute another proof of the continued subversive intervention of the Cuban Communist regime in other nations of the continent.”
