FEDERATION FOR DIABETICS
First Conference In Wellington ( NZ. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Feb. 11. Availability of diabetic foodstuffs is listed as one of the first mattera for consideration by the proposed Federation of Diabetic Societies. The federation is expected to be set up at an establishing conference to be held in Wellington on Saturday. February 17. A spokesman for the organisers said today that diabetic societies in Hamilton Wellington. Nelson, Blenheim, Christchurch, and Dunedin had nominated delegates to the conference Word is awaited from the only other known organisation, in Auckland
"The Initial conference will be coixerned mainly with procedural and organisational matters." said the spokesman. "Once we have the channels settled, we can really get to work to help diabetics and get them to work to help themselves.”
