FOR RETIREMENT FROM GRAZING.—This is part of an area on Mount Nicholas station in the Lake Wakatipu district which is being voluntarily retired from grazing and fenced off as a conservation reserve. The station, which is the subject of a farm conservation plan, was recently visited by the management committee of the Tussock Grasslands and Mountain Lands Institute.
