Two Injured In Collision
Two men were injured when two cars collided at the corner of Selwyn street and Moorhouse avenue, about 9.40 p.m. on Thursday. They were Norman Crosby, of 542 Kilmore street, and William Henry Carter, of 35 Tyne street, Oamaru. Mr Crosby suffered head injuries and was admitted to Christchurch Hospital, and Mr Carter was allowed to go home after treatment in the casualty department of the hospital for arm injuries. Joseph Nalepa, of 18 Percy street, Linwood, suffered head and arm injuries when a cycle he was riding and a car were involved in an accident at the corner of Fitzgerald avenue and Ferry road about 7.50 p.m. After treatment at Christchurch Hospital he was sent home.
