Dies Four Months After Accident
(N.Z. Presa Aaaodatton) NEW PLYMOUTH. February 9. Four months after she was severely injured in a car accident six miles north of Otane, on the Hastings-Wai-pukurau highway. Mrs Eileen Alexandra Joyce, of New Plymouth, died in hospital yesterday. She was aged 60. Mrs Joyce was admitted to the Waipukurau Hospital after the accident suffering from spinal and head injuries. She was flown to New Plymouth Hospital a week before Christmas. Mrs Joyce's brother, Mr H H. Moller, and his wife, of New Plymouth, were also injured in the accident One of the occupants of the other ear involved in the collision was killed.
