Founder Of Youth Hostels Dead
The founder of the Youth Hostels Association, Mr R. Schirrman, died at Altena, Westphalia, Germany. recently. He was 87. In the early 1920's he initiated youth hostelling when he took school parties on excursions into the countryside. There are now youth hostels in 33 countries.
